  • Mission Possible: SNF Department Head Briefing Webinar Series: This monthly series will address essential functions, quality care and department-specific management functions for department heads with sessions specific for Administrators, DONs, Housekeeping, Social Services, Activities, Dietary, Maintenance and Therapy. Topics will include department-specific considerations for infection control, survey preparedness, role in meetings, IDT systems integration, MDS supportive documentation, care planning, driving QMs, employee satisfaction and customer service.
  • The Stability Zone: Finding Peace in the Middle of Chaos: This new on-demand course will focus on stress for leaders and will include coping mechanisms, avoidance techniques and handouts to support the learning.
  • Fearless in the Face of Crisis: A step-by-step program designed to give you all the tools you need to become a confident, inspiring leader that others want to follow, it has over five hours of the best training material available, broken down into bite-size videos.
  • Fully Staffed: Fully Staffed is Drive‘s online program for healthcare and senior living leaders who are ready to end their staffing crisis.   • MDS PDPM Series
  • VGM Education/CE Solutions: VGM Education/CE Solutions has been offering customized education services for more than 20 years and offers more than 300 online courses all written by subject matter experts whose sole focus is senior care. Their online courses are designed to meet the needs of health care staff in skilled nursing, assisted living, home health and hospice environments.
  • Advance Care Planning: The advance care planning (ACP) criteria for the Value-Based Purchasing program affects reimbursement to nursing facilities providing Medicaid services. Meeting the criteria will impact the Nursing Facility Total Quality Score for Medicaid rates effective July 1, 2022. A total of 5 points will be awarded to nursing facility providers that have one or two employees complete the Level I ACP training program. More details HERE.   • Building An Infection Prevention Savvy Workforce: The University of Indianapolis Center for Aging & Community and the Indiana Department of Health will host 11 FREE sessions of Building an Infection Prevention Savvy Workforce over the course of 2023 for long term care professionals. These sessions will each be comprised of 3 half-days spread over 3 weeks. The virtual training sessions are designed to provide an in-depth education on infection control with long term care specific content and examples. Barbara Speedling’s Education Station

The Education Station offers video presentations of all of the mandatory inservice referenced in F941-F947, along with lesson plans, competency evaluations, power point presentation, certificate of completion, and additional policy and resource materials.  Additional videos on topics related to trauma-informed care, behavioral health, dementia care, and therapeutic activity will be added as the year progresses.  All materials will be refreshed at the start of each new year and a new password assigned.  The attached the introduction flyer explains the subscription service. *These webinars are not CE approved but meet CMS requirements for staff orientation and required annual education.  This service is currently available to members at a reduced annual subscription rate, that information can be found here:
