A stressed leader means stressed employees. When employees are in a continuously stressed environment (Hello COVID!) it’s a recipe for employee disengagement. There is a different option then letting stress rule how the organization is run, and spreading it to the employees, who then spread it to the people you serve.
There is a different option: combining a low-stress leadership style with clear expectations and a focus on strong results. Stress goes down. And as a result? Turnover goes down. Productivity goes up. Instead of adding to the stress, the leader is actually reducing the stress around her or him! Stress and fear-based leadership result in short-term wins with long-term damage. Cultivating calmness helps to bring out the best of a leader and the best in their team!
This new on-demand course will focus on stress for leaders and will include coping mechanisms, avoidance techniques and handouts to support the learning.
