Representing the targeted interests of Indiana’s assisted living and independent living communities.
To advance the quality, value and professionalism of assisted living and independent living in Indiana for the benefit of their residents and communities.
Established in 1998, the Indiana Center for Assisted Living (INCAL) is the assisted living division of the Indiana Health Care Association (IHCA). INCAL includes a diverse mix of different ownership structures, sizes, scopes, locations and service arrays. INCAL provides information, education, consultation and advocacy to members, including regulatory guidance on all of the issues of interest to assisted living and independent living communities throughout the state.
INCAL members are entitled to receive full membership services, as well as the services of the American Health Care Association (AHCA) and its assisted living partner, the National Center for Assisted Living (NCAL).
We are closely monitoring the news and guidance concerning COVID-19 and are working with the Governor’s office, the Indiana State Department of Health and AHCA/NCAL, to ensure our member providers receive the necessary guidance to care for the most vulnerable Hoosiers during this public health emergency.
