IHCA/INCAL provides a larger voice to the issues that plague our profession and hinder our ability to thrive. The collaboration of multiple providers is more powerful than any isolated efforts and the Association provides a means to collectively work as providers to establish communication on critical issues and facilitate change.

The rate of recoveries is a reason for optimism, but the battle is not over. The deaths that have occurred in long term care facilities are tragic, but because of the fearless dedication of our heroic caregivers, the vast majority of residents who have tested positive for the virus have fully recovered, and we hope that the recovery trend continues to rise.
President, Indiana Health Care Association
I have appreciated the support of IHCA/INCAL for many years. Long-term and post-acute healthcare is complex and is constantly changing. The association provides a larger voice to the issues that plague our profession and hinder our ability to thrive. It also facilitates the needed tools, training and support for survival and success.

IHCA/INCAL are widely respected and leaders of LTC associations. With the leadership of President Zachary Cattell and every Director in place to meet member and partner needs, they are not just another association. They demonstrate their belief that they can make a difference for all of us in the LTC industry. Of all the partner relationships Success Development Inc. has experienced, IHCA/INCAL is particularly appreciated, as they consistently model capability, honesty, and integrity.

I am proud to give back to this organization by serving on the IHCA/INCAL Board of Directors. It has been an eye opening education to see all of the different levels that the Indiana Health Care Association works to serve the residents, families and staff of the long term care facilities in Indiana.
Vice President of Clinical Operations, Golden LivingCenters
Being a part of IHCA/INCAL has been a wonderful experience and has brought so many learning opportunities to our company. I have been fortunate enough to be a part of the Workforce Development Committee for several years and am now the Co-chair. I’ve really enjoyed the opportunity to share ideas with other members, which allows us all to grow and learn for the betterment of the industry as a whole.
Executive Director of Human Resources, CarDon & Associates
I have more than 25 years’ experience with the Indiana Health Care Association. I started out as a nurse at a facility, moved up to serve as a Director of Nurses position followed by serving as a consultant to multiple facilities, and I am currently serving as the vice president of clinical operations for 23 buildings. Throughout each of the steps in my journey, the IHCA/INCAL has provided excellent education to support my career development and further strengthen my leadership skills.
Vice President of Clinical Operations, Golden Living Centers
Workforce recruitment and retention is one of the most pressing challenges confronting long term care providers today. We are laser-focused on giving our members the tools they need to address this shortage while equipping tomorrow’s workforce with resources they need to launch a successful career in this rapidly growing field.
