On August 25, 2020 CMS published an interim final rule that established Long-Term Care facility testing requirements for staff and residents. Embedded in the rule are documentation requirements and mention of a revised COVID-19 Focused Survey Toll. The tool will be used by the surveyors to assess providers of their compliance with the testing requirements. IHCA has exclusively developed a quality assurance guide to help SNF providers identify gaps in the required documentation in order to stay compliant and avoid citations.ACCESS HERE
