On Friday, August 11, the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration (FSSA) announced that software used by an enrollment contractor experienced a security breach that exposed 744,000 members of Indiana Medicaid. The breach occurred in the MOVIEit application used by Maximus Health Services.

The IHCA/INCAL team received confirmation from FSSA that the scope of the breach impacted only those Medicaid members who currently or previously selected a managed care entity.  As residents living in our member facilities are not currently associated with a managed care entity, they should not be impacted by this breach.  However, a member who previously was enrolled with a managed care entity before coming into your facility could be impacted.

If any of your residents have questions, they can call 1-833-919-4749 for more information.
