This two-day intensive workshop is geared towards maintenance directors, physical plant operations, environmental services and nursing home administrators. The learning objectives of this workshop include:
– Reviewing code expectations, regulations and leading life safety code deficiencies
– Review and discuss life safety issues including construction, renovations, egress etc.
– Review and discuss life safety code features of fire protection, sprinklers, doors, utilities, etc.
– Review and discuss life safety code issues of survey requirements, electrical systems, smoke detectors, medical gases, etc.
– Review and discuss the CMS Emergency Preparedness requirements
