As you are aware, the IDH has hired registered nurses from the Indiana Healthcare Reserve Workforce to perform observations in nursing facilities across the state. IHCA/INCAL has been informed that the nurse observers have been extended through February 2021.
It is our understanding that these clinical observations should take about two hours per visit and the nurse observers use this checklist during their visit. The checklist is an electronic survey that is sent to IDH leaders. At this time, IDH is not releasing the completed checklists. We have requested that they reverse this decision and provide the checklists to the facilities.
