We’ve got big news! We are thrilled to share that two of our 2020 digital communications projects were recognized during the prestigious Pinnacle Awards by the 2021 Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Hoosier Chapter last night.

The Pinnacle Awards are PRSA Hoosier Chapter’s annual awards program that honor and celebrate the very best in strategic public relations planning and execution across the state of Indiana. The awards ceremony was held on June 2 at the Fountain Square Theatre in Indianapolis. Winning projects and campaigns spanned those from leading Indiana public relations agencies, non-profit organizations, corporations and universities.

“We are so honored to receive this recognition. 2020 was a tough year for everyone, especially for our members who were greatly impacted by COVID-19. This recognition is a strong reminder of the importance of the work our team does every single day to serve our members and a powerful demonstration of how building robust digital communication capabilities can empower our members with actionable information.”

Please join us in celebrating our awards and projects in the following categories:

Best of Show Pinnacle Award in Digital Communications: IHCA.org Redesign

The IHCA/INCAL’s website redesign project was honored with the Best of Show award. This award recognizes the entry that received the highest score among the field and demonstrated the highest standard of excellence. Our team worked with Design on Tap, a web development firm based in Indianapolis, to rebuild our website from the ground up. The overall goal of this project was to elevate user engagement and enable members to have one-click access to vital information, a suite of tools and exceptional learning opportunities. Not only did the new site exceed all key performance indicators for user engagement post-launch, but more importantly, it has served as an epicenter of information and resources for long-term care professionals across the state to navigate the ever-changing regulatory landscape amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.

Pinnacle Award for Audiovisual Project: A Salute To Our Fearless Caregivers

IHCA/INCAL was also recognized with a Pinnacle award. This award recognizes those projects that demonstrated excellence in overall execution. Recognizing the unimaginable toll the COVID-19 pandemic has taken on our state’s long-term care (LTC) professionals, our team developed a tribute video in 2020 to honor these unsung heroes for their extraordinary efforts in caring for our most vulnerable Hoosiers. The video received an overwhelmingly positive response from LTC professionals across the state and reached nearly 16,000 people on social media. Watch the video here.

Congratulations to all the winners who were recognized for exemplary execution of their public relations projects by PRSA last night!
