Are You Ready for Recertification Surveys to Resume on April 12, 2021? During the COVID-19 pandemic, rules and regulations have been in flux at all levels. Keeping track of what
is allowable on a local, state, and federal level has been a challenge. As providers and the Indiana Department of Health (IDH) surveyors balance normal operations along with pockets of COVID-19 surges, it will be important for providers and surveyors to take time to debrief, audit and prepare for recertification surveys to resume and get back to regulatory readiness.
On April 1, 2021, the IDH team will be providing a presentation to nursing home providers and licensed assisted living providers related to the survey process and any changes to expect. This is an opportunity to listen and ask questions that will better prepare for the resumption of recertification surveys.
