    MDS PDPM Series – Now Availalbe On-Demand

    IHCA/INCAL is partnering with Proactive Medical Review to present the MDS PDPM Assessment, Coding & Systems Orientation & Proficiency Series that is now availalbe on-demand. 

    This 6 session webinar series provides MDS section-by-section coding guidance under PDPM and insights for optimal data collection, supportive documentation,
    and consistent coding accuracy. Live sessions are completed weekly over 6 weeks and review key MDS sections under PDPM.

    The on-demand access to recordings is now available for new hire orientation and as a staff development resource. Reduce the learning curve for clinical reimbursement staff and drive PDPM coding accuracy and compliance with this MDS series taught by Proactive’s expert instructors.

    Our Speakers

    Eleisha Wilkes, RN, GERO-BC, RAC-CT, DNS-CT Clinical Consultant

    Clinical Consultant, Proactive LTC Consulting

    Eleisha Wilkes is a Registered Nurse and AANAC certified MDS consultant with over fifteen years of experience in long term care. She has served as a Director of Nursing, Case Manager and Resident Assessment Coordinator with positive results in achieving MDS coding accuracy and person-centered care planning through effective systems, staff development, and interdisciplinary team collaboration. Eleisha specializes in MDS validation audits, reimbursement compliance, and competency-based staff education programs. As a nurse consultant with Proactive, she conducts mock surveys, teaches extensively on MDS coding, QAPI, phase 3 preparedness, and is assisting facilities with PDPM impact analysis reviews and transition projects.

    Shelly Maffia MSN, MBA, RN, LNHA, QCP, CHC, CPC, CLNC

    Director of Regulatory Services, Proactive LTC Consulting

    Shelly is a Registered Nurse and Nursing Home Administrator with experience serving as Director of Nursing, Administrator, and as a multi-site Corporate Nurse Consultant. She holds AANAC’s QAPI Certified Professional (QCP) credential. She is a member of the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APIC) and earned a Certificate in Infection Prevention in Long-Term Care. She is a skilled coder and an AHIMA approved ICD-10 trainer. Shelly specializes in not only identifying SNF regulatory compliance risks, but in supporting SNF leadership in implementing the practical, real life solutions that drive performance improvement and quality outcomes.

    Kristen is a Registered Nurse with over nineteen years of long term care experience. She has experience as a Regional Clinical Reimbursement and Nurse Consultant, Director of Nursing and Resident Assessment Coordinator.
