The June 30, 2019 deadline is fast approaching to complete ACP training in order to earn quality add-on dollars for your facilities. The ACP training is a new requirement of the Indiana Value Based Purchashing (VBP)program, and it is worth 5 of the 100 points that will be used to calculate the quality add-on portion for July 1, 2019 nursing facility rates. The training is a 4-hour online and on-demand program using the Relias platform. Details on how to access the training can be found here.
In order to earn the full 5 points in 2019, at least one employee must have completed the training on or before June 30, 2019. For 2020, a facility must have at least one ACP-training employee for six out of the 12 months of the year. For 2021, a facility must have at least one ACP-training employee for nine out of the 12 months of the year.
