On  Feb. 1, 2022,  Governor Eric Holcomb issued Executive Order 22-02 which extends Indiana’s public health emergency until March 4, 2022.  Indiana’s public health emergency was set to expire on February 1, 2022 and can be extended in 30-day increments at a time under state law.  On January 14, 2022, the federal public health emergency was been extended through mid-April, 2022 and any decision to allow the PHE to lapse would come with 60 days of notice.

Due to the extension of the state’s public health emergency, the Indiana Department of Health’s (IDH) Blanket Waivers are currently extended until March 4, 2022.  In addition the IDH Blanket Waivers will last for 45-days after the end of Indiana’s public health emergency based on the IDH orders that were reissued in August 2021. In addition the Indiana Temporary Healthcare Provider Registry remains active during the Indiana public health emergency.
