On September 30, 2021, Governor Eric Holcomb issued Executive Order 21-26, which extends Indiana’s public health emergency until October 31, 2021.  Indiana’s public health emergency was set to expire on September 30, 2021 and can be extended in 30-day increments at a time under state law.  On October 15, 2021, the federal public health emergency was been extended through mid-January 2022 and any decision to allow the PHE to lapse would come with 60 days of notice.

Due to the extension of the state’s public health emergency, the Indiana Department of Health’s (IDH) Blanket Waivers are currently extended until October 31, 2021.  For a summary of IDH’s Blanket Waivers, please click here.
