CDC Guidance on Testing in Nursing Homes

The Federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recently issued Frequently Asked Questions regarding testing in nursing homes, including when an antigen test should be considered a false positive.  The CDC’s Frequently Asked Questions be found in full here.  This CDC resource should be read in conjunction with CMS’s testing memorandum, QSO 20-38, and resources from the Indiana State Department of Health, such as its recently released Antigen / PCR Testing Decision Tree.
