Organizational objectives and employee preferences changed significantly in the last two years and as a result, employees and employers alike expect different things from the workplace. A large majority of organizations indicated that diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) was an organizational priority mid-pandemic, according to Gallagher’s May 2021 Workforce Trends Pulse Survey. Conversely, recent survey data shows organizations are not investing in DEI expertise. Are organizations making progress toward more inclusive and diverse workplaces, or, are employers uncertain where to even start?

This session will explore data showing where many organizations are at in their DEI journeys, and more importantly, the steps employers can take to implement an organizational DEI strategy. Using a multicultural organizational development lens to explore strategies and implementation plans including organizational change and benchmarking, attendees will walk away with action items for integrating inclusivity into the workplace.

Target Audience: Skilled nursing and assisted living leadership including, but not limited to CEO’s, COO’s, Executive Directors, Administrators, Human Resource Leaders, Department Directors, Supervisors and Nurse Managers
