In conjunction with the Ohio Health Care Association, IHCA/INCAL is offering the Life Enrichment/Activities Professional Career PREP course. This 9 hour seminar was created for those who are currently working in life enrichment/activities or looking to advance their career in assisted living. This seminar will be facilitated in a fun, interactive and practical way. The course includes reviewing the basic building blocks of what it takes to be prepared to be successful in this position. This course is a live online course.
Topics include: administrative basics such as setting up a program, office and supplies; programming basics such as creating calendars, leading a resident council, memory care programming, and outings; setting up successful volunteer programs; involving the whole team, and so much more.
