About This Event

IHCA/INCAL is proud to partner with VGM Education/CE Solutions to provide on-demand courses for long-term care professionals.

Purpose

All staff working in the long term care setting will increase their knowledge and skills in caring for persons diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease or a related disorder.

Objectives

Upon completion of this course, the participant will be able to:

  • Describe and give examples of group and individual activities appropriate for persons with dementia
  • Explain the significance of person centered activities for individuals with dementia.
