Deeksha Kapoor oversees the digital and social media communications function at the IHCA/INCAL. In this role, she is responsible for providing strategic leadership for a wide range of communications and public relations initiatives including member engagement, media relations and advocacy communications to advance the mission and strengthen the awareness of the association. She brings seven years of experience developing strategic communications programs that catalyze audience engagement, deliver a dynamic user experience and drive business results. Prior to joining the IHCA, Deeksha served as the director of digital and social media strategy at Eli Lilly and Company where she led the execution of global and regional social media campaigns aimed at driving stakeholder engagement on priority issues of the company.
Deeksha is passionate about harnessing emerging technologies for brand storytelling and helping organizations build the necessary digital capabilities. She is an active volunteer of the Public Relations Society of America’s Hoosier Chapter and serves on the board as director of membership. She holds a master’s degree in Public Relations Management from IUPUI and a master’s degree in Community Resource Management and Extension from Delhi University, India.
