The Indiana Health Care Services Corporation was established by the Indiana Health Care Association in 1998. IHCS provides premium access to quality products and services for health care providers.
With its extensive “Solutions” portfolio, IHCS adds real dollars to the bottom line. Partners access savings, rebates, and other marketplace efficiencies for business lines such as medical supplies, food service, pharmaceuticals, capital equipment, laboratory services, and office supplies. IHCS also provides s significant reduction in insurance cost to its participating members.
PROGRAM INITIATIVES FOR FISCAL YEAR 2009 THROUGH 2014
1) Provide quality insurance programs to health care providers through a member owned insurance agency, Indiana Health Care Insurance. As vested owners of the agency, participants significantly reduce their insurance costs by taking advantage of a variety of product lines. The agency is supported by a network of professional insurance experts specializing in the health care industry
2) Offer a suite of Information Technology products. From emergency data back up systems to wireless networking, these technologies make it possible for functions, processes, and people involved in the patient care cycle to share critical and accurate information
3) Provide Human Resource services that will optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of your HR department's ability to attract, manage and retain a qualified workforce.
4) Create access to a variety of financial and revenue cycle services. These services enhance the business aspects of an organization in order to maximize the funds available for patient care.
