The Indiana Health Care Policy Institute (IHCPI) is a multi-disciplinary group of faculty and staff dedicated to conducting research on key issues in health policy.

Institute members are engaged in a wide diversity of projects, focusing on health care inequalities and inequities, staffing shortages in health care facilities, increasing cultural competencies relating to health care, and quality of care and outcomes research.

The outcomes of the research carried out by Institute help shape long term care policy in the state of Indiana.  The Institute provides  information for presentations, testimony at legislative hearings, or informal briefings with legislators.   In addition, findings are disseminated through special publications, books, and academic journals.
