Help IHCA recognize programs, staff, and commitment to quality care by submitting nominations for the 2010 Long Term Care Awards! Innovative people and programs in geriatric settings, including Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living, Adult Day Care, Adult Foster Care, Memory Care, Independent Living, Senior Centers, and Retirement Centers, are essential in delivering quality care to our seniors. All winners will be announced at the Long Term Care Convention on Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at the Quality Award Reception at Lucas Oil Stadium.

The Corporate Stewardship Award showcases businesses and not-for-profits for demonstrating ethical leadership and corporate stewardship and for making a positive difference in society.
Nomination Requirements • All submissions should include a typed or neatly printed nomination form • Please provide (either typed or handwritten) specific examples in the following areas:
o Tell the Story: Please give a brief description of your stewardship - what you are doing, what have you achieved and how have you made a difference.
o Business Strategy: Describe how the program supports the overall business strategy for your company.
o Evaluation and Impact: Identify the principal immediate and long term social and economic benefits and the metrics used to evaluate them.
Excellence through EducationThe Excellence through Education Award recognizes individuals advancing their career in the long term care field through continuing education. Individuals who have shown a desire to further their skills and have shown a devotion to caring for those needing long term care are eligible for this award.
Nomination Requirements • All submissions should include a typed or neatly printed nomination form • Submissions should include documentation showing previous position held,transcripts from accredited university or college showing completion of anassociate's, bachelors or master's degrees, and new position.• These awards may be self-nominated• Please provide (either typed or handwritten) specific examples in thefollowing areas:

Volunteers are exceptional people who give the greatest gift - time. Recognize those who devote their loving time to brighten the lives of those in geriatric settings.
