IHCA is governed by a twelve member Board of Directors that is exclusively comprised of senior leaders of leading long term care organizations. The IHCA Board of Directors meets on the 4th Friday of every month at 9:30 am EST. Board Meetings are open to all IHCA members and Associate Members.

The Regulatory/Clinical Committee examines and analyzes emerging regulatory and clinical issues that impact, or could impact, the long term care community.

The Indiana Health Care Association’s Payment/Reimbursement Committee is established to provide a forum for discussion, analysis and resolution of financial reimbursement issues related to the long term care field.

The Government Affairs Committee analyzes and provides strategy regarding legislative issues at the Indiana General Assembly. The committee meets every Friday morning at 10am during the legislative session (January-March in even-numbered years; January-April in odd numbered years) and periodically during the off-session months.

The goal of the Associate Member Council is to develop and foster lasting relationships between Associate Members and Facility Members, between Associate Members themselves and to help the IHCA provide top-notch programs and services to all of its members.
