The IHCA/INCAL Regulatory/Clincal Committee examines and analyzes emerging regulatory and clinical issues that impact, or could impact, the long term care community. The committee focuses on broad policy developments that result from federal and state government authorities, and will attempt to determine their implications for member facilities. The committee also discusses practical matters related to how the survey process is applied, with an eye toward spotting regulatory trends that can be instructive across the board.
The Regulatory/Clinical Committee will meet approximately 4 times per year to examine and recommend IHCA action on regulatory and clinical issues that impact, or could impact, the long term care community.

Quarterly Compliance and Education Update and Listserv
IHCA/INCAL staff, with guidance from the Regulatory/Clinical Committee, hold Quarterly Compliance and Education Updates throughout the year. The content of the updates include survey and certification issues, compliance issues, and a variety of regulatory and clinical matters. To participate in the Quarterly Compliance and Education Updates, please sign up for the Regulatory and Clinical Listserv by clicking here.
At the suggestion of our members, we are cancelling our three-hour quarterly compliance meetings indefinitely and will be offering 90 minute monthly or bi-monthly webinars in its place. Details on the first webinar to be scheduled are forthcoming. We hope offering this information in a more timely manner and a more time efficient platform will be beneficial to our members. If you have any questions, please contact Lori Davenport at email@example.com.
